About Saturday night...

location: Tokyo
mood:
bouncy
music: KISHIDAAAAAAAAAAAAN
I've been fangirling on Facebook and mixi since stupid o'clock this morning, because I just had the MOST amazing thing happen...
Now I'm gonna try and explain last night in a slightly more sane way.
*breathe*
A friend on mixi, Hide, told me about an event in Aoyama, where Show-yan was going to be a guest dj in a bar called "Le Baron de Paris" (which is actually a really nice place!). Being a huge raving fangirl and all, me and Hide decided to go, but he dropped out at the last minute, because he has exams coming up and he didn't think he should stay out all night.
Ooops.
Anyway, Show-yan and Kishidan's manager, Yamaguchi-san, turned up at about 2am. I was pretty much frozen to the spot when they walked in... I wasn't even sure it would be ok to talk to them. But, I saw a few other people going up and introducing themselves, so I thought, "Hey, why the heck not...."
First conversation with Show was just basic stuff about how much I love his music, how I'd seen him in concert etc. He was really happy... and actually said he knew about me, because there aren't really any other foreigners in the fan club (which was a total shock, because I didn't even mention the fan club!)
Then he started djing, so I spent some time talking with Yamaguchi-san, who asked me more of the "Where are you from/What do you do/How long have you been here/Where do you live" sort of thing.... he was really happy I'm from England, because Show met his wife there!
Second conversation with Show-yan, when he was taking a break in his set... longer conversation this time, and mostly a repeat of Yamaguchi-san's conversation. He was so easy to talk to! I couldn't believe how cool and relatively calm I was (and how much better my Japanese had suddenly become!). He even put his arm around me ♥
Then, something really fucking major happened.
He asked me what I did. Of course, I told him I'm an English teacher... and he started talking about how much he wants to be able to speak English. So I said to him, in English, "I will teach you English!"
... he took his wallet out of his bag. I assumed maybe I was going to get an autograph.
No.
He gave me his business card.
His business card. With his email addresses, and phone number on it.
SWEET BABY ZEUS
I just about lost my shit at that point! I totally undid all my hard work at acting all relaxed and stuff around him! XD I must have spent at least two minutes just squealing and repeating "すごい!本当!わああああ!ありがとうごさいます!", over and over again. This made him giggle quite a lot XD
Then he played some more songs, and taught us a cute dance :3
So, a while later, I emailed his phone, with my details. And a got a reply from him... saying he's looking forward to the next time he can see me.

O_O
So, long story short, I just made friends with one of my biggest heroes.
I'm going to teach him English....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Actually, I think the only thing I have on there of Kishidan that's... not utter pigswash is the Shoujodan pics.
... DO YOU THINK HE'LL LIKE PICTURES OF HIMSELF AND THE CREW AS GIRLS
*looks for Shoujodan drawing book* fhallhghlashgksaeeeeeeee
Oh, and this is probably not ever going to happen, but if you somehow get talking about video games, would you ask him if he likes Shin Sangoku Musou/Sengoku Musou/Musou Orochi?
BECAUSE
I THINK I WOULD PROBABLY DIE IF HE DID
but only if it comes up, flhkalfhkslshakkfkhla oh god I am dying

I can't even begin how amazing this is! Not only did he say he knew of you, but he mentioned you stood out in that fan club, too! (Somehow, I'm surprised he pays attention to a fan club. Uhm, what fan club is it, by the way?)
I'm thrilled to know he was so nice to you. @_@ You know those episodes where somebody meets their idol and that person is like, a total jerk? I don't think that happens as much as they do in cartoons as they do in real life, but hearing about totally chill people is always a great thing.
Have fun teaching him English and getting to know your hero! 8D
